At the heart of this partnership is GREYSHARK™, our highly advanced Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) designed for high-endurance missions in contested littoral environments. Purpose-built for modern maritime operations, GREYSHARK™ enables continuous undersea presence, ISR, MCM, and other mission profiles.

The partnership brings three core advantages that will drive forward our coastal defence innovation:

Integrated coastal defence

GREYSHARK™ will be embedded into Rheinmetall’s global coastal defence architecture system of systems, for multi-domain support infrastructure. Rheinmetall will also act as liaison to national defence authorities.

Mission-specific co-development

Euroatlas and Rheinmetall will co-develop tailored variants of GREYSHARK™ to meet specific operational requirements within Rheinmetall’s defence ecosystem.

European-built, sovereign capability

This collaboration ensures a secure European manufacturing and sustainment footprint, enabling sovereign deployment, operation and recovery across strategic coastal regions.
