Introducing Greyshark: Autonomous (AI) underwater drone developed by Mimir group company Euroatlas

Mimir Group is proud to highlight the groundbreaking work of its portfolio company Euroatlas (Germany). Euroatlas specializes in advanced technology solutions for naval applications, addressing some of the most demanding challenges in extreme environments.

In November 2024 Euroatlas introduced Greyshark, an autonomous, AI-driven underwater drone designed to meet the evolving demands of the naval defense industry, at the world-leading defence fair Euronaval in Paris (France). Greyshark can operate autonomously, in swarms and alongside other defense systems, offering unmatched capabilities for securing critical underwater infrastructure and strategic assets.

Since Mimir Group’s acquisition and successful carve-out of Euroatlas from its former owner in 2021, the focus on Research & Development has been at the center of Euroatlas’ activities. Euroatlas’ development of the Greyshark is an excellent example of how a former non-core subsidiary can become a powerhouse for cutting edge technology development.
